Ingredients
- Recipes/Streusel
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1.25 cups sour cream or yogurt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 tbsp (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
Directions
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder/soda, salt
- In another bowl, combine the yogurt and vanilla and set aside
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar on high speed until lightened in color and texture, 3-4 min
- Beat in the eggs 1 at a time
- Add the flour mixture in 3 parts, alternating with the sour cream mixture in 2 parts
- Scrape the sides of the bowl as necessary
- Scrape batter into a pan and spread evenly
- Sprinkle top with streusel
- Bake until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, 25-30 minutes
- Let cool briefly in pan on a rack
