MediaWiki Bots for My Wiki

I need to do some cleanup of categories and creating of summary pages/list pages.

I know that this has already been done for MediaWiki for Wikipedia. It would be nice to get my hands on a Python MediaWiki bot and repurpose it for my own wiki.
