The following set of lectures are focused on governing equations. Governing equations are partial differential equations derived from first principles (e.g. conservation of mass, conservation of energy, etc.).
The approach taken by these lectures is to start at a very fundamental description of fluid flow, and derive Reynolds Transport Theorem from this perspective. Reynolds Transport Theorem is then used to express the fundamental governing equations of CFD.
Other topics are also included, such as approaches to analyzing and simplifying the equations (non-dimensionalization).
