Argentinian sauce, slightly spicy, served as a side with grilled or roasted meat
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup fresh parsely or cilantro chopped
- 4 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh oregano finely chopped
- salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp ground red pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Directions
- Whisk the oil and vinegar together in a small bowl
- Stir in the onin, parsely, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper
- Cover and let stand 2-3 hours before serving to let flavors develop
- Keep covered and refrigerated up to 2 days
