Andys Ham Radio Linux
Andy (KB1OIQ) made a ubuntu-based ham radio linux distro that has gqrx on-board. See Andys Ham Radio Linux page for the full list of programs that comes with that distro.
Mac
I was able to use my HackRF on the Mac by using Gqrx. The nice thing about Gqrx is that a Mac .app bundled installer is provided, which contains GnuRadio and all the HackRF/FunCube Dongle/Airspy tools on-board. So, you don't actually have to do any work to get Gnuradio working on the Mac - which is REEEEAAAAAAAALLY nice.
